I wondered what coffee would taste like with you in the morning
The color of your eyes as the sunlight shone across your face
I hadn't even had a taste and I was hungry for more
Suddenly walking and talking all became a chore
My breath caught in my throat
And our eyes met
I rubbed the sweat off my hands and I came to stand next to your seat
I silently called you a cheat for making me speech
– less
Sorry
Could you repeat that?
I was listening, I promise
You're just this Adonis and I simply a pawn in your trap
Did you mean to ensnare all the grace and wit out in one snap?
Or was your intention to stare into my soul?
Was it just a role you were playing to catch the winning goal?
I've already told you too much
And as such you gift me a smile worthy of a thousand legions
This moment has become a memory as you are now my reason for a breviary
I don't mean to be contrary and out of sorts
It's just when you look at me it thwarts the source of all my plans
I'm in trouble, man
Cause all I want is you
No matter the cost
