Sonnet to Bucine, Italy
Memories from my day in this lovely small town in 2018
By Lorenza BucinePublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

This is a photo I took on our way to the campsite in Bucine, Italy.
Italy and adventures awaiting,
Silver car climbs mountain road, lovely bends
Fields of sunflowers, yellow, undulating
The vineyard announces our journey's end.
Exquisite infinity pool, crisp, chill
Floating, gliding, refreshing, our eyes meet
Cool waters relaxing, mountainous hills
Refreshing from the summer's scorching heat.
Night falls, campfire flames, and creatures peep
Feast on grapes, cheese, bread, wine as we discuss .
Our hut, tiny A-Frame cabin for sleep
The night both cold and hot, embracing us .
As long as I live, as much as I see,
This day shall be etched in my memory.
