Amidst the verdant hills where whispers play,

The river weeps with tears of brackish gloom.

The sun, though bright, cast shadows in dismay,

As forests fall to fate's encroaching doom.

The sky once blue is streaked with ashen grey,

Its breath bow choked by smoke and toxic haze.

The gentle breeze, a mourner in dismay,

Laments the loss of earth's untroubled days.

The ocean roars with rage upon the shore,

Its depths disturbed by human hands deceit.

Its creatures flee, their homes exist no more,

A shattered world lies crumbled at its feet.

Yet still, a seed of hope in silence grows,

To heal the wounds the earth in sorrow shows.
