In the summer's golden glow, young hearts all aflutter,
Youngsters gather 'round, ice cream dreams they utter.
Their eyes wide with delight, flavors to discover,
A symphony of sweetness, each taste a secret lover.
With cones in hand, they laugh and share,
Their joy filling the warm, sun-kissed air.
Chocolates and vanillas, strawberries divine,
A rainbow of scoops, happiness entwined.
Sticky fingers and giggles, a mess they don't mind,
Ice cream mustaches, evidence you'll find.
Running through sprinklers, carefree and bold,
Youngsters savoring each icy, creamy fold.
Their laughter contagious, like a summer's breeze,
They relish in the joy, their hearts at ease.
Childhood memories, forever they'll keep,
Of youthful innocence, and ice cream dreams so deep.
In the twilight's gentle glow, as stars begin to gleam,
Youngsters bid farewell, but hold onto the ice cream dream.
