A Letter to My Readers:
The World in Our Words II will be coming soon...

Dear friends,
I have some news that fills me with joy and gratitude: my poetry will be included in the upcoming global anthology, The World in Our Words II, curated by the extraordinary Australian author/poet Stephanie Rowe. I am still pinching myself - being part of a collection that brings together poets from every corner of the world is a dream I never imagined would come true.
This anthology is more than a book. It is a gathering of voices, a bridge across cultures, a reminder that even in our differences, we share the same human heartbeat. Every poem, in every language, carries the weight of personal truth and the beauty of connection. Knowing that my words will live alongside these diverse, fearless, and heartfelt voices feels like being part of something much larger than myself - a global chorus of emotion, hope, and imagination.
Stephanie has woven together a collection that transcends borders, reminding us of the power of poetry to unite us, to give voice to our dreams, and to illuminate the quiet, profound moments that make us human. Being included is not just an honor - it is like waking up on Christmas morning.
She says,
"Within these pages, poems move across borders of geography, politics, language, and personal history, offering flashes of recognition, moments of deep comfort, and invitations to be challenged and changed. You will encounter verses that honour mother tongues, celebrate cultural roots, and open doors into worlds you may never have walked through, yet somehow feel you have always known. This collection is a living testament to our shared humanity: tender, fierce, imperfect, and beautiful. It connects readers to the heartbeat of many lands at once, inviting you to slow down, listen closely, and find your own story reflected in the lines. The World In Our Words II is more than a book - it is a community-built offering, created to be read, shared, and passed on. If these poems move you, please share them, and help this circle of voices grow."
The global anthology will be released in March or April 2026, and I cannot wait for you all to experience it. I hope, when you read it, you feel the same wonder and connection that I feel now: the thrill of creativity, the courage of expression, and the beauty of our shared humanity.
In this time of deep societal division, we have embraced the opportunity to come together, transcending geographical, social, gender, racial, cultural, and political boundaries in this multilingual anthology.
With gratitude and excitement,
S.E.Linn
