Sing to me little lark, sing of the sorrows that drown you.
Ignite me, take flight into a world that reaps your sound.
Lilting melodies touch the ground, the wind carries your echo.
End it tragically, or beautifully, end it in a way that heals your hurt.
New lands will come, but I’ll watch for you when they fall.
Carry me with you, in your words, in the broken bits of wing, in our tattered hope.
End it here, only then can silence truly come and break down our walls.

A hauntingly beautiful plea for release and renewal, where sorrow and hope intertwine, seeking healing through the lark’s final song.
