Sonder/Silence

Silence/Sonder

By Kait ThursdayPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Sonder: when the night eavesdrops upon the

Idioglossia spoken between breath and body.

“Listen!” Cries my limbs, as they stagger uphill.

“Enough!” Cries my lungs, as they gasp and gulp.

New to the chorus, my mind interjects,

“Calm yourselves, children! They watch. They know.

Empty stillness does not mean we are alone.”
