Sometimes when my heart breaks

You still deserve to Be

Sometimes when my heart breaks,

I think of nothing about me.

But only of the fragments of

my broken humanity.

---

Sometimes when I cry

It's not in result of something sad.

But only for the sake of

Something whole I once had.

---

Not every tear

has a specific home.

Not every word

has a legacy in a poem.

---

It's not that those emotions,

words, and tears aren't there.

Only, they live on something other

than an identity solid and clear.

---

You don't need a poem

to get your word to be,

You don't need a tragedy

to break a heart in three.

---

Sadly, it is enough

to look around you,

to get your emotions riled

and all of them are true.

---

But a lesson from this fact

is to never lose the "me".

even when you feel lost,

You still deserve to be.

"Sometimes when I cry It's not in result of something sad. But only for the sake of Something whole I once had." resonates so deeply. This is a wonderful poem.

love love this line it fits so well and perfectly it's like a quote: Not every tear has a specific home. Not every word has a legacy in a poem.

So powerful, I absolutely loved this. All of us deserve to be here. Loved the rhyme scheme as well!
