Sun shine slips through her palm to reach her face
She looks at me with eyes half closed and smiles;
Grass floor, yet she lie down with so much grace
Wind goes quiet as it waits for her to rise
We stroll, hands holding tight, ‘walk by the sea’
The grass, standing tall blows from side to side
The bee dances around flowers with glee
Grasshopper is gazing the field with pride
I am full of me when we walk as one
I feed on some of these juicy moments
While waiting for us to be in the sun
Can I treasure all these dreamy events?
I would love to hide 'some of the summer'
between our hands, and pride like grasshopper
