I want to find peace,

Solace someplace,

If only a solemn one,

At least an escape.

Does such a place linger

In one spot, long enough

I can take all my anger

And just drop it off?

My soul feels the touch

of love, of redemption

But my mind speaks, my worth

Is still under question.
