Solace

From The Ashes

Beauty For Ashes

It is peaceful, it is quiet, it is perfectly still

I thank God for his solace for of the World I have had my fill

My moments seemed to be locked together in an endless stream, like DNA

Streaming together like a beautiful river in which a child would want to play.

Undeniably filled with divine peace from the wisdom of your word

Overflowing with purpose that most might find completely absurd

A walking contradiction broken hearted yet finally whole

Keeping in mind that this world takes it’s tole.

Perfect trust gives me confident peace in whatever may come

I might not know it all, but I know more than sum

In Gods creative mercy through flames that purify

Reaching the parts unseen to the naked eye

From the dirty ugly ashes, the world had discarded

Emerged the vibrant ruby he had intended when he started

The rubies beautiful colors sparkle and shine

Gods perfect love shinning from heaven divine

Understanding better now in the trials I endured

Unable to remain the same after the fire occurred
