A daily ritual is my cup of Joe despite the unlikeable taste
I sip it to the very last drop , though shall not waste
It started as a way to be social, and to belong
Eventually the addiction ensued, hopefully not for long
Or perhaps one day I will grow to enjoy its lingering aftertaste
