So, You Have to Disappear?
For the "Instructions for Disappearing" Challenge
If you really need to go,
first, there’s something you should know.
Pack a small bag of possessions.
No need to worry about lasting impressions.
Say goodbye to those you can,
I know this wasn’t part of your plan.
Try not to think about what happened,
you will only feel saddened.
Climb inside your old white van.
Don’t look back if you can.
Start the engine and just drive.
You will truly feel alive.
No need to know where you’re going.
Where you’re off to, no one’s knowing.
Find a place so very remote,
somewhere you can stay afloat.
Now you can breathe a sigh of relief.
It's time to turn over a new leaf.
Here, you can start a new life,
far from chaos, far from strife.

Yes indeed! Love how simple these steps sound in this poem. Very playful with a hard situation.
Excellent take on the challenge… all done with beautiful rhythm and rhyme.

I like the kind of shivery, nervous-anticipation vibe of this poem; well done!
I enjoyed your rhyming. Not too over-the-top. Good luck with the challenge!
