Friday Routine: Iced Lattes and Sunshine
With a Side Stop to Buy New Underwear

This is an entry for Annie Kapur's "A Day in the Life" Unofficial Poetry Challenge.
I Wake up from another restless night.
Need coffee!
I pack my son into the car.
We drive to our favourite spot.
Iced latte in hand,
I take a sip, while listening to the waves crashing,
and feeling the sun on my face.
Uh oh, my son's getting restless.
Time to skull that coffee,
lucky it's cold!
We jump back in the car
and head to the shops.
Still time to do some errands before Rhyme Time.
I've just remembered the underwear I'm wearing is full of holes.
We go to Kmart, and I score a new pair for $2!
I want to stock up and buy more,
but I'll just get one and test it out first.
It's Time for Rhyme Time.
We cross the road to the library
And sit on the floor front and centre.
Time to sing!

Cute story!💕💗
Reminded me of being a mum to a young one. Right down to the just about finding time to buy underwear. Lovely job.
