So Relax, Enjoy the Ride

Then pay the bill goodbye

So Relax, Enjoy the Ride

He said

So relax, enjoy the ride

like I was strapped in

like I had no say

But I chose this

I pick the time

I set the rules

I name the price

Don’t tell me how to feel

when you’re the one

paying for a borrowed hour

You want a thrill

You get a show

But don’t mistake the skin for soul

Don’t think you’re touching truth

I don’t need your comfort lines

your tired lines

your maybe-you’re-too-good-for-this lines

I’m not broken

I’m not yours

I’m working

So sit back

keep quiet

and pay on time

You wanted real

This is it

So relax

Enjoy the ride

Then walk away

I’ve got work to do

you are a punter Goodbye
