Snowflakes are small and white,

like tiny magic petals drifting from the sky.

Ice-crystal wings shimmer as they fall—

too delicate for the naked eye to truly catch.

Some fall carrying wishes,

others bring simple joy.

They are the quiet promise

of a white Christmas,

softly landing, gentle and pure.

Hands warm together,

blankets tucked around shoulders,

a peace that settles into the room.

The world grows calm enough

to study, to rest, to dream,

as snow drifts down

in quiet, pretty grace.
