Snowcapped lace in Sunshine
Nature shrouded in icy perfection.
Today dawns with the beginning of frost
battling with the sun for relevance.
Ethereal mists
O'er snow-capped heights...tender lace
Nature's shroud embraced
'''''''''
Yawning...dewdrops spill
Wrapped in icy perfection
Day awakens...earth frozen
..........
Sleepy eyes open languidly
wrapped in hearth's warmth
The sun shivers knowingly
It's got work to do
........
It may not yet winter be
But Hearts know well the seasons
They speak, we listen
With open minds...
we see the first frosts approach
Beyond the veil...Infinite it stretches
Beyond time... it speaks in icy tones
Through the thickets...chill approaches
Encouraging fortitude, for winter too
Soon will enter the stillness, not far behind
Nature whispers sweet nothings to the land
soothing it to a new beginnings
Winter's first frost a warning -
On snow capped lace.

Ah, such a calm peaceful symphony to bless the senses with holiday cheer. i exhale a thankful sigh.
This reads like a gentle walk through a waking winter landscape serene, poetic and wonderfully immersive.
This poem really captures that sharp feeling when the frost first hits. You used such lovely images to describe the sun and the cold battling it out. A great look at the start of winter.
This was gorgeously wonderful. Loved your poem!
