An ode to a snow day

Look up in the sky way up high where the birds fly.

The clouds made snow. Look at the fluffy white wonderland glow.

All the children love the icy cold snow day.

The ivory blanket caught the kids eye now they run the snow way.

Parents and children both anchored in the snow.

Laying down in the ground all the kiddies make some angels in the snow.

This first cool hive means that school’s out.

Put the coats and gloves on or you’re in for a cool out.

Snow fall is epic. You can’t say it’s a loss.

Oh how we all will enjoy this first day of the frost.
