Snow Away

An ode to my dislike for snow

Snow snow snow. Go away

Why are you here? I didn’t even want snow today.

I can’t stand it when I see them white flakes hit the ground.

You cover the whole town and then it’s hard for me to get around.

People like you on the surface because you look nice.

You ain’t nice when we start slipping on the ice.

All week long you’ve had me paranoid and scared.

Earlier this week your icy conditions made me fall down the stairs.

I can’t tell a lie. I use to really like you as a kid.

But today you’re something I wish Mother Nature never did.

I’m glad the skies are clear and the sun flows today.

Kiss Jack Frost a big goodbye because it’s time for you to snow away.

Perfect description of days with snow. I grew up in it but now rarely get it and when we do, it shuts everything down.
