Snow and Ice on the way for the Uk

Snow is coming, ice will stay,

A freezing wind is on its way.

White will cover fields and skies,

Cold and sharp on ears and eyes.

Footsteps crack on frozen ground,

Stillness settles all around.

Trees stand bare, with icy tips,

Winter’s chill on fingertips.

The cold is harsh, but it won’t last,

Soon, the snow will melt so fast.

Until then, we’ll watch it fall,

Winter’s beauty seen by all.

Haiku

Frosty whispers sigh,

Snow drapes the earth in silence,

Winter's chill arrives.

Perfect descriptions of the winter season for me. Good job.

When I was 2 years old my mother was carrying me in the snow. She slipped on the ice. I was in hospital for 6 weeks with a broken leg. They had to learn me to walk again. From that day I grew up terrified of walking in snow or icy ground 😭
