Sporadic, and unannounced

Slowly first, then all at once

Like escalating courage, or laughter

Flurries really are just, brave, laughing rain

Falling, Floating, Taking over

That persistent veil that becomes all

*

White whispers (spark the start)

with barely a sound, the most gentle touch

imagine the softest air, made tangible

you can touch it-

though only just

*

Fragments of Frost, Falling

in a quiet rush

They seem to have

No destination

No plan

and yet somehow,

they land

with precision

*

Witness the winter wonderland

all is pure white

a snow globe come to life

All the branches are defined, outlined

The grass

The roads

Every surface. every stone

all blanketed by snow

*

Icey crystals cascading down

When snow falls,

Chaos and Order are introduced

They intertwine, they dance,

they part, they pair up

For a season, they fall in love

*

Flakes continue to fall

(Entirely silent)

Science and Art have fused, creating frozen symmetry

How could something this frigid, warm the soul so fiercely?

Who would believe

one so small, gentle, and sweet

would have the power to transform the world

in merely a night

just like that, so suddenly, everything's white

*

We end with

The purest scene

the first thing seen

from your window on a winter morning

That undisturbed blanket of frost

untouched beauty, frozen peace

That sadly, can never last

Dirt emerges, soils the canvas

Footprints and muddy slashes,

Enough to make you wish

sneakers, cars, tires, and feet

did not exist

nature poetry

You paint a lovely picture that shows how temporary the beauty of nature is before it changes - the ending of your poem creates melancholy food for thought. Really well done - congrats!
