Ran towards roof again
With liquid tinged at corner of eyes
Tired of faking that fucking smile
Which of course was authentic
.
"What's wrong?"
An internal sound I heard
Lips smirked
"Hah! What was right anyways?"
.
Heeded she, seeing me saddened
Deep brown eyes
Reflected reliability
"She's my only one"
Thoughts whispered
.
Opening my arms
Asked for warmth, and clutched
Drops and then river overflown
Wailed my throat
Simply drought
.
Tapping my back
Wiping the flowing mascara
Pretty ugly smile compelled,
Tiny blush left out
Trees, sky, roads, fixtures,
Giggled along
Handled me well
.
'Why do you make me smile?
No matter how unwanted I feel,
No matter how left out I am’
Softly I whispered
'Cause you matter,
It's not the end,
In this lonely world
Full of ugly hearts
Learn to comfort oneself,
Learn to smile
You’re precious’
.
