Small Gesture, Big Impact

Invisible in the Crowd: An Old Man Lost in the City's Rain

Rain lashed the streets, a city wept,

An old man huddled, drenched and swept.

👍😃

Invisible to hurried strides,

A cardboard shield, where sadness hides.

😍❤

A child, umbrella bright and new,

Paused, eyes wide, empathy grew.

From tiny hand, a flower bright,

Offered in silence, a beacon alight.

🥰

The man looked up, surprise etched deep,

A teardrop glistened, not from the weep.

In that small bloom, hope gently bloomed,

A touch of kindness, darkness consumed.

🤔

Newspapers rustled, a coin did gleam,

"For you," the child said, a radiant beam.

😊

A tiny sum, a world transformed,

Compassion's ripple, gently formed.

The man bought bread, a roof for the night,

The child, embraced by morning's light.

🥰

A small gesture, a life renewed,

In kindness sown, blessings accrued.

So plant a seed, no matter how small,

For even raindrops nourish a wall.

For kindness shared, like morning dew,

Brings hope and beauty, just for you.

He shared his shelter, a meager space,

The child, unfazed, with joyful grace.

Stories exchanged, laughter's gentle sound,

Two kindred spirits, common ground.
