Sleepless In The Saddle

I Mean Seattle

Sleepless again, man I feel like I'm drunk

I forgot to shower

and I smell like a skunk

*

This insomnia is something, it must be contagious

I see you're hanging online

I may dip in, if I'm feelin' courageous

*

I tried melatonin, but it just cannot touch it

and that Ambien, man

could get a criminal acquitted

*

I've seen some things, that just cannot be real

if you saw them too

then, you'd know how I feel

*

Santa and his reindeer, wrestling with frosty

Smurfs on the lawn

singing, "killing me softly"

*

That's it, I'll just stay awake, feeling sleepy

it not worth the nightmares or stress

I'll mow the lawn and deal with the creepy

feeding my new friends, the insomniac sheepy

humor

Melatonin just seems to make my eyes tired, not me sleepy. Never tried Ambien. Sounds interesting to say the least.

I agree with what Dharrsheena has written below.

  • I mean, it's sad but funny at the same time. Lol.
