Go on, go ahead!

Slander me in silence.

I shall not retaliate against such scorn,

I shall not hide in this storm.

The power of those words you use;

You don't hear the foul abuse!

Yes, my dear.

Go ahead, Slander me in Silence!

Use your words wisely,

They will only come back to haunt you.

Slander me!

Call me all those dirty names;

spread your rumours,

And your dirty lies!

It is I who will walk the hall of fame

Holding my head up high.

I who won't bow down in shame,

In bid of your words so lame!

Go on, go ahead!

Slander me in silence.

For it is only your words,

I can't hear.

Only words said,

because you're not here.

Thank you for reading my poem, which is something I am a work in practice with. Hearts are more than welcome, and any tips are greatly appreciated as they give me the confidence to improve my work.

    Better to not heed the rough words and just let the aggressor get kissed by karma.
