cold hard glass and steel

Thank you for reading! During one of my trips to NYC to represent a lens manufacturer, I took a few shots of the ever-growing skyscrapers. I wonder how high we'll go?

Beautiful photo and perfect haiku, my friend! I always loved the way the buildings mirrored the sky and clouds—doing all they could to write themselves into nature.
Whoaaa, that photo is awesomeeee! I loved your Haiku, especially the second line!
Love the imagery you've painted for us in the haiku Dana. For some reason, your authors note at the end makes me think of that story about the tower of Babylon. So I think we'll go as high as we physically can before shit hits the fan... 😅
So vivid and such gorgeous word choices! Amazing sky-ku, Dana!
What a stunning pair!! The photo is gorgeous! And the haiku captured the reflective but disruptive nature of skyscrapers so you can well
I love that you describe the skyscraper as both reflecting nature and rending it. A skyline is a spectacular this but it can never compete with its natural competitor, the mountain range. Excellent challenge entry, Dana!
An excellent description
those high risers have alwaysbeen an enchantment to me, nice haiku buddy 😊😊
Your words are beautiful, and a little sad. Fabulous pic as well.
Wow - Excellent work, I always thought of skyscrapers of being cold and dangerous.
Wow, what a point of view!! Awesome one, BB (big bro).
