This piece is from a prompt I had this morning about being in the park, of course the last park I was in was last April in Istanbul, Turkiye, so that is what inspired the piece.

I had only been there 16 hours before I found myself at the park with her watching the boy play. I got him an RC racecar and he was having a great day!
Now the sounds weren't native to me and I didn't understand the words I heard. But there were pigeons all over the ground, and I thought to myself, but a bird is just a bird. They didn't look different because I wasn't in America, they looked exactly the same munching from the ground all the seeds and grains. I mean what's a language barrier now-a-days, we all just whip out google translate and we can understand each other okay.
Children played, some chased after the boys car, mesmerized at it's precision and how it could go so far. The children were just children, the same as everywhere, they played hard, got dirty without a single care.
I enjoyed my time in Türkiye. The people were honorable and pleasant, yes. And very misrepresented by the US.
See, Birds are Birds, Skies are Skies, Children are Children.. One different thing shouldn't define someone. It's what they have inside. We didn't really end up needing words anyway, children playing, meals shared, friendship expressed said all that we needed to say.

Very well said Sam - everyone is made up of the same stuff at the end of the day. It just gets expressed in different ways.
I'm happy that you had such a wonderful time!
It sounds so picturesque! ✨😊❤️
<3 Love this
I love this! It's like a little clip of a film role from your trip! I've always wanted to go for the architecture ✨ now perhaps I'll go for the birds 🍻🖤
