in fact, you’re in pain right now.

and as soon as you read that, you thought of all the things in your life you’ve been pushing away & trying to ignore.

you don’t have to build a wall against your pain. if anything, that creates more pain.

you cannot win a war by ignoring it.

you win a war by facing it.

pain is universal.

i am nineteen now.

and i think

little sixteen year old me

had more wisdom than i ever will.
