Sisterhood

By Lenora Altom

By Lindsey AltomPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

Life was an ocean, and we were drowning.

But then we found each other.

In the midst of hormones, boys, and highschool we took cover.

Religion was a question.

The world's rules just a suggestion.

We were different,

together we were magnificent.

Sisters forever, not by blood but of love.

About the Creator

Lindsey Altom

For me, writing runs in the blood. I've written songs, poems and short stories ever since I was a little girl. I mostly like to write about my life experiences mixed with a little fiction or just things that come off the top of my head!

What a love poem of comrades. Sister power. Love the photo, is that of the three of you? Nicely Done - Good luck on the challenge.
