Sing Hope

For the lonely Valentine

By Mark StonePublished 11 months ago 1 min read

Softly speaks the somber day

In tones of softest sorrow,

No lovely gifts or treats to say

Great joys will come tomorrow.

--

How then can we make whole the heart

Once torn by scorn and sadness?

Perhaps in song our love can start

Each new beat to turn to gladness.
