Silver

A symphony of the Sea

Serenaded by sanguine seagulls I sprawl in the shadless heat of the sand. The sun sparks in shining streaks across the sea and I squint at the sight and smile at how it sparkles like sapphire turned molten, smelted by the noonday scorching mood of Sol.

After sometime I’d slip into the seafoam, sink beneath the surface and swim toward the sky. I'd aim for where the stars have scattered at the edges of the sunset to settle in for the second show. I'd sip the view, the silvered shards of moonlight that kiss the shadowed sea and ponder on her shrouded secrets, sequesterd beneath the glittering spirits that dance on the ripples as if they are seeking a place to settle or searching for a silent place to sleep.
