Too soon the night has gone to sleep

Silver Moon Shining On A Beautiful Sea
The silver moon rises.
Soft and slow.
It spills on water.
It strokes the night.
The waves return.
They whisper back.
They promise nothing.
Here sorrow rests.
Here the sea forgets.
Here the moon forgives.
Silver touches blue.
A mirror above.
Does the moon see us?
Does it lean close?
Like a lover.
Like a kiss.
Oh sea.
Oh sky.
Hold me here.
Between light.
Between water.
Where nothing hurts.
Where all is forgiven.
Where time stands still
Not Forever,
Just till night meets its day.

What a poem of sheer imagery in words and images. A poem that shows what a dream should be like. Good job.
