Silent Noise

A heart's loudest sound!

Savoring every memory, haunting words echoes my mind.

Increases the cacophony of noises in a world, unkind.

Love escaped your heart, while it clung onto me.

Eluding my tear-stained pillow, you continued your leave.

Neruda said, "Love is so short, forgetting is so long."

Coincidentally, he was right about us, and I was wrong.

Eventually, Silence between two different hearts created all my noise.
