Silence

A moment every parent cherishes

Slumbering, blanketed, frail little tots

Innocence hovering above in their thoughts

Listen to nothingness as shadows creep by

Even the stars are hushed in the sky

Nodding and blinking the babes to their sleep

Cries are not heard, not even a peep

Every good nighttime is a moment to keep

Brought back gorgeous memories of my hyper child asleep... and those moments of love, relief and peace!

This is beautiful Meagan. So perfectly written the wonder of children as they peacefully sleep through the night. This is excellence in writing.
