Silence Screams

in the dead of night

Silence screams

at the

dead of night.

*

Tension sits

heavy in

your chest.

*

Thoughts roam

in the

darkness, uninvited.

*

Will you hear

the call

of the silent?

*

Or will you

ignore them like

everyone else?

I like the contrast between silence and screaming. When nothing else is there, it really does sound like that. For me, I will not ignore them. I will melt into it instead… I’ll let it tell me what it needs to. Fantastic work Luna. You’ve given us something to think about. It’s an important road to set us on ♥️🤗

  • I'll just ignore it, lol. Loved your poem!

Good question and not sure. A thinking person's poem.
