Outrage

random poem of the day

I didn’t mean

to yell,

but something

cracked.

*

The way

they talked

over me.

The way

no one

flinched.

*

How long

can you

hold it in

before everything

shatters?

*

How long

can you

handle being

unheard?

*

How long

until all

that’s left

is a broken

scream?

I like to rage and rage and rage until I am heard. I like this one. It takes us on a journey to test us. I failed miserably. I don’t know how to handle not being heard or understood, but I am working on it. Thank you for writing such a thought provoking nudge ♥️🤗
