SILENCE

acrostic thought of the night

By Jennisea RedfieldPublished about a year ago 1 min read
AI art by self

Such stillness was the night,

Illuminating light from our glorious moon.

Listen to the soft ballads of bugs and frogs,

Entertaining all that drift to their songs

No crashing of trains, or hum of electricity

Can you hear it? The constant, unchanging

Encore of what we call the night?
