Silence
Silence, the moment embraced in the sound of nothing.
It exudes a certain presence; like an appearance,
Leaving all with its quiet and mysterious aura
Even the cry of the owl at night, is almost echoing into the sound of nothing.
Nothing! Nothing indeed,
Can break the sound of silence
Except for the distracting sound of noise.

June sat on a bench stationed against a big nim tree in the green grass field beside her house near the small garden admiring the scenery. Accompanied by the sound of cars passing by and people walking home dressed in their finest attires returning from church while exchanging greeting with her neighbors and people they meet along the way including Mrs. Salomé a small shop owner opposite her house. She was also dress in a nice attire and had just arrived from church. Mrs. Salomé spotted her and greeted; shouting from across the street, Juliana how are you?
