Silence

Empathy

By J BPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

Sitting at the kitchen table not sure what to do.

I suddenly found myself feeling rather blue.

Like it came out of nowhere and decided to stay, I tried to shake it off but it wouldn't go away.

Even tough the saddness was deep

Not sure if it was my own, it felt like the grief of someone I've known.

Closing my eyes with my palms together, I started to pray and began to feel better.

Empathizing with others can sometimes be painful, but allowing the wave is powerfully gainful.
