Can’t go wrong In getting sign outs

‘Member them times playing hide outs

Long as we were having fun

Getting sign outs more than one

Have to be like always grateful

Hard work pays off can’t be hateful

Work like me and you’ll get some

Every day I pray for mum

Start was great you know I’m chilling

Always hear the sound of drilling

Putting shelves on for the stock

Not a pigeon but they flock

Do continue with my filling

Pattern stock up to the ceiling

And they say that I’m their rock

If I’m that then need my sock

Things like that It keeps me pushing

All the nonsense do the shushing

Do the right thing don’t you think?

Best sellers Is all the pink

I can see why all that rushing

Lot of them are bloody Russian (lol)

You can see they love a drink

Moet one you have to wink

Can’t go wrong In getting sign outs

‘Member them times playing hide outs

Long as we were having fun

Getting sign outs more than one

Have to be like always grateful

Hard work pays off can’t be hateful

Work like me and you’ll get some

Every day I pray for mum

So far so good carry on

Like I’m writing all my song

Everything we do our best

Getting ready for the test

Going forward moving on

Look ahead the past Is gone

Pattern up a lovely nest

So I’m warm when getting rest

Do my thing…. As I do

Can’t be sneezing like achoo

Can’t be moving like I’m crazy….

Quiet ones don’t move In two

Praying for my family too

And the ummah all In to

For my duas man I ain’t lazy….

Do have love I love you too

artfact or fiction

So I had to do a mini research in order to make this comment, I can almost hear the effects of the parallel compression and the EQ. This poem had really cool transitions, tones and play on words and ideas —jumping between moods, I love the melody and how its so smooth as I read and follow. Hopefully I didn’t butcher those key words too badly lol.

Wow! Such a deep and evocative poem Haychie. The last lines hit me hard :)
