Shotgun Wedding
He got no escape her fathers got the gun

Shotgun Wedding
The vows came quick, like a loaded gun,
A preacher’s voice, no place to run.
A trembling hand, a ring too tight,
A lifetime sealed in candlelight.
The shotgun rests behind his chair,
Her father’s gaze—a weighted stare.
A nervous “yes,” a whispered name,
Two hearts now bound in love or shame.
The dress is white, but fear bleeds through,
Something borrowed, something bruised.
No choir sings, no bells resound,
Just hollow steps on hollow ground.
A kiss is pressed, the deal is done,
A bride, a groom, a smoking gun.
A romance that has just come to life
A deal sealed for him for all his life.

I like the lifetime sealed in candle light! Makes it sound mystical!
Sounds like an old country western song. Good job.
