Shift Of Perspective
A poem about accepting the inevitable change of life.
🌫On a chilled September's day ,
the air seems very still and calm.
🌤
I reminisce the Summer's night
like a shadow collection
of dingy photographs.
🌥
A peculiar mist blurs my vision,
the expansive aura
contributes lenience.
🌤
Symphonic winds
breeze through the roots of my curls ,
justifying this state of euphoria.
🌥
Benevolence strikes
up a conversation with resistance ,
combating the heed of sullen tinctures.
🌤
No longer
feeling the heat
of forsaken merriments ,
I can now ease into curiosity.
🌥
The eccentric image
of a compelling forthcoming
subdues my fatalistic stance.
🌤
With serene oddity
ill-lit stratagems
now appear mundane ,
sought after indulgence
rekindles the flame.
🌥
Open-hearted,
ready to receive
the overflow of divine blessings.
🌤
Contagious to be
so renowned by bliss ,
my reimagined utopia
must be shared as a gift.
🌥
Epitome of tranquility ,
the worries allay.
🌤
Sensory souvenirs
as sweet as nectar
from the rind of a ripened honeydew
will leave vast sensations of gratitude.
🌥
Yet a swift embrace
I nuzzle the pace ,
knowing I'm supported
each step of the way. 🌫
