We’ve reached an ending
It’s a beautiful one
Simultaneously
An ugly one
It is yin
and yang
Cold and hard
Hot and soft
It is the in-between in the in-between
where we are unseen
yet
unveiled.
It is the alpha the omega
A new year awaits and it feels like we've landed in a brad new dimension
entered a new universe
past a portal
that some deemed necessary and others deemed unfair
In this portal we were skinned
Scrubbed bare
Others died there
There was a fountain and we were stripped of our clothes and shells
Exposed.
the water undid who we were
who we thought we were
We are at
The beginning in the end
The finality in the start
Winter brought us in
and winter will take us out
Shots fired in the night sky
"Made you look" when stars couldn't
A death
A renewal
An undoneing
A reglueing
Haunted and freed
Shedding
Simultaneously Ugly
And beautiful
