She Wears My Ring
he took my ring
gave it to her,
no shame, no pause
like I was never there.
Not even a lie, not even a sorry.
It’s just gone.
He just handed over.
I watched from the quiet,
I watched him smile.
I saw her wear what was mine.
my hands stay bare
Empty of his love
on my finger.
It held his name, till it turned to ash
he touched me soft
then turned like stone.
He left with her
left me alone.
The bed still cold
but not untouched.
his ghost returns
but never long enough.
My voice went first
then my pride.
I begged in silence, I bled inside
she wears the gold
I wore the weight
he changed the locks
he sealed my fate.
I don’t want revenge
I don’t want peace
I just want
him to hurt like me.
he stole my ring,
to give to her.
That hurt me, beyond compare
he stole my ring,
she wears it like a fool
he played me like a stupid fool.

A heartbreaking poem about betrayal and loss, capturing the raw pain of a stolen ring and love
Very interesting and well composed
Not nice at all, better off without him.
