She’s Finally Free of the Past

Old acquaintances buried where they belong

She rises from the ashes of a forgotten era,

Pristine inner beauty of an innocent heart,

She walks the trails of her future in confidence,

Knowing you are waiting for a fresh start.

😊

You offer her the wisdom of your many years,

Patiently waiting on the sidelines for her to catch on,

With a heart full of love for this unique beauty,

One of a kind to which you are drawn.

😊

She is built of excitement and erotic passion,

As she rushes to meet you in her future days,

Anticipating the touch of your loving hands,

As they wield erotic shivers and set her ablaze.

😊

Your time is near, she’s cresting the horizon,

Catch her as she falls,

She’s freely single, ready to be loved,

And she feels your heartbeat from where it calls.

😊

Turn the corner and catch a glimpse of her smile,

She’s happy, only recently awoken from the stress,

Life is for the living, she’s definitely ready,

No hesitation in giving her heart, in which you’ll bless.

😊

When she loves, she loves hard,

And she’s yours for the calling, just ask,

Her past has recently been put to bed,

And her demons have finally been cast.

😊

The turmoil of old relationships now washed from her soul,

A favour done by one she once knew,

Freeing her for you to hold close within your life,

The relief now cleansing her through and through.

😊

Lay her carefully within the protection of your arms,

She’ll bless you with ecstasy previously unknown in your past,

She’ll treasure the time you shower upon her,

Gifting you not as her first love, but as her very last.

About the Creator

Colleen Millsteed

My first love is poetry — it’s like a desperate need to write, to free up space in my mind, to escape the constant noise in my head. Most of the time the poems write themselves — I’m just the conduit holding the metaphorical pen.

This was so wonderful my friend! It felt so reassuring reading this! It brought a smile to my face! 🥰🥰🥰

  • Truly beautiful 🙏🤍✨

  • My wife likes to refer to me as her "first husband". She also likes to refer to me as her "last husband". I love the passion in this poem almost as much as I love that last line. Nicely done, Colleen.
