She Left Him A Broken Man
A green eyed snake of a woman

She Left Him A Broken Man
His eyes were blue, true to her.
Hers were green, filled with poison.
Yet he trusted her.
She killed his trust with rage,
Abused him with punches,
Broke his life, his mind, his heart.
Drained his wealth, it was so unfair.
Then left him without a care.
His world collapsed, his spirit torn,
A hollow man, forever alone.
In shadows deep, he wandered lost,
Paying the price of love’s brutal cost.
He vowed to never trust again,
For love equals only pain.
She left him broken, no money, no trust,
A shell of a man, to what he once was.
Hope disappeared, over night,
Empty now where love once burned bright.
Every dream left tainted,
Memories like scars,
Haunting reminders of love,
Now faded and marred.
In silence, he bears the weight,
Of love turned bitter, Sealed by fate.

Very nice in time for valentines when intentions may be fake and hearts sometimes break
I feel so sad for him. Loved your poem!
<3 nice
Is this the old, green-eyed monster known as Jealousy? Really liked the image though so vivid and evil. Good job.
What a terrible story but beautiful written
Thinking of Fantine in Les Mis. If she could have gotten revenge for her bad deal in life, she'd probably be the one who broke that man. However, I suspect it was Carmen who did it.
