SHE IS COMFORT

When she learned how to

glow in her own darkness,

she became the glimmer of hope

she had been searching for.

When she realized that her ‘other half’

was actually found within,

she learned how to truly love herself.

When she finally understood a message that her dad had left her with,

“no one is as good as they seem, or as bad as they seem,”

she gained a different perspective on human beings.

She gained a new respect for those beings;

most importantly, herself.

When she came to the conclusion that

life really is a beautiful thing, even when it isn’t pretty,

she finally felt a genuine contentment for life,

in all of its forms.

When she learned to become her own

source of solace through tough times,

she realized that nothing could fully destroy her.
