She is a Star
Celestial Radiance
She is a radiant star, emitting light amidst the vast dark,
Oh, how far her glow is felt, yet she hides her spark.
Among countless others, she feels unseen,
Quite average, quite dull—her worth in-between.
Comparison is a silent killer of the soul,
Chipping away at what once made her whole.
Why search so far for truths out of sight,
When the boundless glow she seeks is her own inner light?
The battle within is relentless and unkind,
A force she never thought she’d find.
She becomes her own harshest foe,
Dimming her light, letting self-doubt grow.
Her energy wanes, her spark grows faint,
Life feels heavy, the world a constraint.
But then she sees, with newly opened eyes,
Every star has a place in the sky.
Her doubts dissolve, her light starts to rise,
And she shines once more as darkness dies.
Death isn’t always an ending divine—
Sometimes, it’s where the stars align.
She becomes a supernova, vibrant and untamed,
A light so fierce, no shadow remained.
The sky, a masterpiece, needs every part,
And her radiant glow was there from the start.
This little light of mine,
I’ll no longer underestimate its powerful shine.
