Shattered Echoes

When love breaks, even silence remembers.

Shattered Echoes
(by Dena_mulyana)

I gathered your promises like fallen leaves,
Pressed them between pages that forgot how to bloom.
Your voice, once the hymn to my mornings,
Now lingers — a ghost lost between heartbeats.

I build castles from the ruins you left,
Homes out of hollow dreams.
Still, every stone I lift
Whispers your name in a tongue I can't unlearn.

Tonight, the stars refuse to shine for me,
And even the moon hides its face.
I chase the ghost of you through sleepless skies,
Wearing my heartbreak like a second skin.

If forgetting is a journey,
Then I'm still at the gate —
Keyless, breathless,
Begging the night to let me in.
