Shattered Dreams

In the garden where love once bloomed,

Now lies a heart, broken and consumed.

Promises whispered, now lost in the wind,

A love story unraveling, where did it begin?

Eyes that once sparkled with dreams anew,

Now clouded with tears, a different view.

Fingers that intertwined in sweet embrace,

Now grasp at emptiness, a vacant space.

Memories like echoes, haunting the night,

A symphony of laughter, fading from sight.

Promises shattered, like glass on the floor,

A love once vibrant, now exists no more.

Each crack in the heart tells a tale untold,

Of a love that was precious, but grew cold.

A jigsaw of emotions, scattered and torn,

A heartache so real, in the quiet it's born.

But from the fragments, strength will arise,

Like a phoenix ascending, to new skies.

A broken heart mends, though scars may remain,

And through the pain, it learns to love again.
